From diverse accommodation options to a wide array of tours and sightseeing activities, they offer customizable packaged tours and in-depth destination information.

THE CHALLENGE

With poorly optimised Google ads campaigns, low performing social and little to no SEO, tasmania.com was on a 6-month decline. With a declining number of leads from 400 leads on January 2022 to 272 leads in July 2022, a huge budget and little to no ROI, they needed a complete, data-driven marketing overhaul to turn the tide.
Complete rebuild, aligning with best practices and strategically consolidated campaigns. We optimised for terms that were driving the most value, culling low-performing, high CPC keywords that were driving up the budget and not delivering value.

With hundreds of unoptimised web pages and blogs and a wealth of content opportunities related to Tasmania travel and accommodation, we optimised the entire website and created trending, targeted content to increase organic traffic and reduce dependence on paid advertising.

We completely revamped their creative output, adding captivating video content that captured the attention of holidaymakers eager to explore one of Australia’s most sought-after destinations.

MOM DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

MONTH 01

Within the very first month of working together, we were able to achieve breakthrough results. Taking to a complete Google ads account optimisation and restructure. 

We reduced their advertising spend by 28.57% (a saving of $10,000 from an initial $35,000) while simultaneously increasing the number of leads by a whopping 120% to 510.

But the transformation didn’t end there. By restructuring and focusing their campaigns on fixed packages, we managed to inject a substantial additional revenue of $61,432. This marked an impressive turnaround, creating a robust foundation for further growth.

MONTH 02

The second month saw continued progress with even more remarkable results. We managed to further decrease the advertising budget by $12,000, which is a 34.29% reduction from the original budget.

Despite a decrease in spend, leads increased to 632, demonstrating the effectiveness of our optimised campaigns.

Once the groundwork had been done, we expanded our scope to include SEO to reduce reliance on paid advertising and decrease overall spend. The impact was immediate – we were able to reduce their ad spend to just $22,000 while simultaneously growing the revenue to a staggering $84,643.

MONTH 03

By October 2022, our third month working together, we confidently returned to the original ad spend of $35,000. With our complete campaign overhaul, we managed to increase the lead count by an astounding 350%, from 272 in July to 817, after just three months of collaboration with Evolving Digital.
